Partial Replacement of Cement With Marble Powder in Concrete
In this project our main objective is to study the influence of partial replacement of cement with marble powder , and to compare it with the compressive and tensile strength of ordinary M20 concrete. We are also trying to find the percentage of marble powder replaced in concrete that makes the strength of the concrete maximum.

Use of Waste Marble Slurry in Cement Concrete as ...
concrete at various percentages and check the strength of concrete using various tests on concrete after 3, 7, 14& 28 days of curing. The research consists the effects and benefits of waste marble dust used as a replaced material. To perform the laboratory test in …

Effect of Dolomitic Marble Dust Powder and Calcitic Marble ...
strength of conventional concrete at 7 days and 28 days. Experimental investigations were carried out to examine the feasibility of use of Dolomitic and calcitic MDP as a substitute of cement in concrete and use in sustainable development. Key Words: Marble Dolomitic, Calcitic ,Compressive Strength, Marble Dust Powder, concrete

Review on the study of compressive strength of concrete ...
1) With the inclusion of marble powder, the compressive strength of concrete gradually increases up to a certain limit but then gradually decreases. 2) Increase in curing days will increase the strength of marble dust concrete when compared from 14 days to 28 days. 3) To minimize the costs of construction with usage of

Strength and Duriabilty Properties of Concrete with ...
The purpose of the investigation is to analyze the behavior of concrete while replacing the Marble Dust Powder with Different proportions in concrete. The result obtained for 28- day compressive strength confirms that the optimal percentage for replacement of cement with marble dust powder is about 10% for (PPC) and (OPC).

Jul 03, 2015 · Conventi onal Concrete As Coarse Aggregat e (20-50 And 100)% Primary Aggregates (Pa; Basalt, Granite And Limestone) 28 Days Concrete Produced By Primary Aggregates (Pa) As Coarse Aggregate. There Was A Slight Loss Of Compressive Strength At 28 Days With An Increase In The Replacement Ratio Of Pa With Marble Aggregate.

Green Cement For Sustainable Concrete Using Marble Dust
(Binder/aggregate) ratio. It was observed that the blended cements developed higher strength, at 28 days compared to 7 days. The strength increase was higher, the higher the marble dust content. So, concrete prepared by marble dust which helpful to reduce consumption of natural resources and energy and pollution of the

Fig. 2: Split tensile strength of M20 grade concrete at 7 & 28 days From fig.2, it was found that the split tensile strength of M20 grade concrete at both 7 & 28 days increases with the increase in the percentage of marble dust powder for up to 10% partial replacement of cement with marble dust powder. With further

Waste marble powder/dust - ScienceDirect
At the end of the cutting and polishing processes in marble factories, two types of waste material are obtained. First is the marble waste slurry (MWS) that consists of the marble dust mixed with water during the cutting and polishing process, second is the broken marble pieces that rupture from marble blocks and slabs.

(PDF) USE OF WASTE MARBLE DUST IN CONCRETE
Marble powder can be used as an admixture in concrete, so that strength of the concrete can be increased. The production of cheaper and more durable concrete using this waste can help the civil ...

Sep 11, 2016 · Composition of Marble powder 4. Objective The objective of the project is to study the behavior of marble dust concrete for water curing. Also we are interested to study the compressive strength of marble dust concrete for 0%, 5%, 10%, 15% & 20%.

Influence of Marble Powder Mortar and Concrete Mix
The use of waste marble powder (dust) was proposed in partial replacement of cement, for the production of Mortar and Concrete Mix. In particular, tests were conducted on the mortars and concrete mix cured for different times in order to determine their workability, flexural as well as compressive strength.
